One integration for every Nigerian payment channel.
A small REST API with signed requests and signed webhooks. Integrate once; we look after Paystack, Flutterwave, Monnify, Interswitch, Remita, Squad, Korapay, OPay and the rest.
# Sign every request: HMAC-SHA512(timestamp + "." + body, secret_key)
curl https://echogateway.ng/api/v1/transactions/initialize \
-H "X-EG-Public-Key: pk_live_…" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_…" \
-H "X-EG-Timestamp: 1793611200" \
-H "X-EG-Signature: 9f2c…" \
-d '{"amount": 45000, "merchant_reference": "ORDER-10234"}'
How a payment flows
Step 1
Create
Your server calls /transactions/initialize with the amount and your order reference.
Step 2
Redirect
Send the customer to the checkout_url. They pick a channel and pay.
Step 3
Confirm
We verify with the processor and POST a signed transaction.successful webhook.
Step 4
Settle
The money is split and paid to your bank account on your settlement cycle.
Idempotent by design
Send your own merchant_reference; repeating a request returns the same transaction instead of charging twice.
Webhooks that retry
Up to six attempts with back-off, a delivery log in your dashboard and a one-click resend.
Test with Postman
Simulate successful payments for every processor in test mode before you go live.
